Who would have imagined that over 20 years ago a friendship and simple idea would grow to be the company Vera Bradley is today? So many things have worked in their favor. Having a great idea at the right time. Having a good name -- after Barbara Bradley Baekgaard's mother.

Vera Bradley makes preppy bags in different styles from handbags to luggage. The prints for fall are exquisite and come in patterns such as paisley, snow and medallion. Royalty was the first word that came to mind when I saw the collection. It also made me wonder whether paisley would be the hot preppy print for fall/winter like madras was for this summer.
